Floating Suction Arms come in a variety of sizes and are one of the more common enquiries for the large bore swivel joint range. Due to the large sizes we can either supply the entire arm or as with the 18″ application shown in Mexico, due to transport costs, we supplied just the swivel joint itself on a 4 week lead time.
This particular application was supplied in carbon steel and coated with a fuel proof paint as the swivel would be submerged in Jet A1 fuel. Due to limited access into the tank the swivel was supplied as a straight style 20 version with slip on flanges. Typically we would use style 40 arrangements where possible to reduce the number of flanges, weight and cost.
